Giving Tuesday Challenge

Giving Tuesday Challenge

Our Giving Tuesday Challenge is coming up. Giving Tuesday is a day dedicated to radical generosity held every year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day encouraging people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has become a global movement that inspires millions to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Giving Tuesday strives to build a world in which the catalytic power of generosity is at the heart of the society we build together, unlocking dignity, opportunity, and equity around the globe. The more we give, the more we inspire others to give.

This year, we would like you to consider a “5 for 5 Challenge” for Giving Tuesday. Participants donate $5 to the Aphasia Community Center and encourage five friends to do the same. Or, a participant can set up a recurring donation of $5 per month. The Aphasia Community Center believes that people with aphasia can live successful and satisfying lives. Your donations help to make that a reality by providing funds for programming, community outreach, and support. You can donate here: DONATE.

In addition, the Aphasia Community Center would like to thank our volunteers for their valuable contributions. Whether it is teaching a class, supporting a member in communication, or cleaning a bathroom, every effort makes an enormous difference in the lives of our members. Our volunteers never ask for anything in return, yet they see how their actions benefit our community. If you are interested in volunteering, contact a board member or email at EMAIL. They can help you find a way to benefit our members.
